The BRYC Recreational Soccer executive committee accepted with great regret the resignation of Commissioner, Mac Squires, at the conclusion of the Fall Season. Mac has been a long-time BRYC parent, referee, club administrator, and coach (in a pinch!). His children aged out of BRYC Soccer several seasons ago, but still Mac continued volunteering for the club. His energy seemed boundless - especially on rainy weekends when he was often the first on the pitch to check field conditions and the last to leave as he finished his Saturday visits to all the BRYC soccer fields. Putting out fires on and off the field and doing whatever necessary to make recreational soccer possible - Mac has been an examplary role model of community volunteerism.

We wish Mac all the best and some well-earned Rest and Relaxation time!

 Dane Merkel is the new Recreational Soccer Commissioner. Dane has been a club administrator for BRYC Rec Soccer for several years beginning as a U5 League Director and most recently as our Deputy Commissioner for the Junior Division.
