While one of his team parents (apparently with a high level of tolerance) still refers to him as "awesome", a youth soccer coach in Spottsylvania has been charged with assault after physically confronting two youth referees, including a sixteen year-old, in disputing the award of a penalty kick to the opposing team. BRYC Referee Director John Davis supports a "zero tolerance" policy for coaches and parents who dispute or second-guess referee decisions. The Spottsylvania soccer organization apparently agrees. The coach has been suyspended indefinitely
